Persian Cultural Foundation Co-Sponsors Another International Conference
The Persian Cultural Foundation (PCF) cosponsored an International Conference on the Iranian Constitutional Movement, which took place on the campus of the University of Maryland, September 21-24, 2006. As part of the celebrations marking the 150th anniversary of the University of Maryland and commemorating the centenary of Irans Constitutional Revolution of 1906, a watershed in modern Middle-Eastern History, the Conference was organized and hosted by the Center for Persian Studies (CPS) and supported by a number of other organizations active in the US as well, including the Iranian American Bar Association, the Ahoora Foundation, and the Roshan Cultural Heritage Institute. A number of prominent community leaders and interested individual donors also contributed financially to the Conference.

PCF Recognizes Two Rutgers Students for Their Literary Contributions to the Iranian American Community

Since its inception, the Persian Cultural Foundation (PCF) has been committed to preserving and presenting Persian culture and heritage. Recently, in order to promote Persian culture and literature among young people of multinational backgrounds, the PCF in collaboration with Rutgers University sponsored a contest to select the two Best Papers on PERSIAN CULTURE AND LITERATURE.

The Fifth Biennial Conference on Iranian Studies, May 2004
The fifth Biennial Conference on Iranian Studies, sponsored by the voluntary work of many of its leading members, is due to be held May 28-30, 2004 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Bethesda, Maryland.

The Conference promises to bring together hundreds of scholars actively engaged in the teaching and research of various facets of Iranian Studies in hundreds of universities, research institutions, and museums all over the world.

ISIS management, the president of ISIS, is determined to enhance the visibility of scholarly exchanges, in part through the participation of select leaders in the expatriate Iranian and Persian-speaking communities abroad and the various cultural organizations they have established around the United States.

Strange Times, My Dear: The PEN Anthology of Contemporary Iranian Literature
The event was cosponsored by the Persian Cultural Foundation, PEN American Center and Arcade Publishing. This pioneering anthology included a rich and varied collection of short stories, and features the work of over 50 Iranian writers from three generations.
Bam, IRAN Earthquake Victims Relief Fund
In view of the recent earthquake in Bam, Iran, where up to an estimated 40,000 human beings lost their lives and over 100,000 have become injured and/or homeless, a coalition of humanitarian associations, 501C-3 non-profit organizations and individuals, have set up an ad-hoc committee and collect funds to help the survivors of this catastrophic calamity, unprecedented in modern era. 23rd Annual Conference of CIRA
The Persian Cultural Foundation proudly co-sponsored the 23rd Annual Conference of the Center for Iranian Research and Analysis at Widener University, Chester, Pennsylvania on May 6-8, 2005. This Center is “an independent and non-profit organization whose primary purpose is to promote, generate and publicize research on socio-economic, political, cultural and artistic developments in Iran and the Middle-East.”
Shirin Ebadi, the 2003 Nobel Peace Laureate Visits the United States
Shirin Ebadi, The Noble Peace Prize 2003, visited the United States in Spring 2004 and delivered a series of Lectures and conferences throughout the States.

Persian Cultural Foundation (PCF) was her sponsor and host for the tri-state and Washington segment of the trip. Mrs. Ebadi received an award by the Interfaith Center of New York in addition to other ceremonical evevnts at the Asia Society and Columbia uneversity.

Shirin Ebadi gave a presentation as the 2003 Nobel Peace Laureate at Pace University, New York on June 9th, 2004.
